DESCRIPTION

The 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee was one of the meanest-looking muscle cars out there. So this hardtop pays tribute to those with a very bold style. And when you look beyond the color package, you're also going to find a ton of cool vintage appeal inside and under the hood.

We know exactly why this Coronet was converted into a Super Bee tribute. The '69 hardtop came with a wide and intimidating face, and the chrome bumpers were even wider. Plus, the profile was long, sleek, and has a terrific kick-up on the rear fender for a sporty Coke-bottle style. So it already looked like a muscle car even before you put a V8 under the hood. So the Super Bee stripe on the rear and the wide dual exhaust tips are just a natural fit. But this one goes beyond just vintage muscle car flair. The upgrade to yellow paint has a smooth shine and a radiance that looks even bolder than Dodge's Top Banana. And the black tail stripe is part of a fully coordinated style. The full-length black rockers, blackout grille, blackout rear panel, and black vinyl roof give this an almost two-tone appearance. And those black 20-inch wheels are a carefully chosen upgrade that adds style and modern tires.

The interior is also distinct... but while the exterior is notable for its muscle car style, this one is exceptional for its classic presentation. It's the factory-correct tan premium interior. And you can tell its classily upscale feeling everywhere from the intricate pattern on the upholstery to the well-done wood-like trim. Two wide rows of bench seats have a classic appearance, and they give you plenty of room for family and friends. But any time you want more individual comfort, the fold-down armrest turns the driver's seat into a true bucket. The steering wheel, gauges, dash, and more are all pure vintage Mopar. There are even cool details, like the working dome light and AM radio.

The engine bay has a terrific style with the dark inner walls funneling your attention to the bright motor in the middle. This has been upgraded with a bright air grabber and matching valve covers. We like this current presentation because it looks quite clean on what's believed to be the original 318 cubic-inch V8. On a Super Bee tribute like this, we bet you're just thinking about all the big power upgrades you can add. And we all know these hardy 318 motors love upgrades and there are plenty available. But first, it's good to see what this one offers on day one. It's an easy cruiser that loves to run and makes a nice tune out of the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Plus, the smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and modern sport tires make this the kind of hardtop that's easy to enjoy whenever you're ready.

Complete with maintenance records, this is the bold Super Bee tribute that also gives you plenty of classic appeal. So at a price like this, you don't want to miss this full package. Call today!!!
