Streetside Classics - Nashville

This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS tribute is a deep and dark mean machine - and it even has a performance-built mega big block under the hood to back it all up. But when you see the overall quality of the work, and upgrades like the A/C interior, you soon see that something that looks so sinister can also be so nice to enjoy.
The dark color is pure intimidation, but there's more going on here. The black paint has the kind of luster that so nicely complements the shine on the trim around the grille, windows, and truck bed. The 1970 El Caminos share the same single-year front end as its Chevelle sibling, and the iconic style will always be in demand. Plus, it has the right speedy look with hood pins, Rally wheels, and the iconic dual white racing stripes that draw extra attention to the real induction cowl hood. When you combine them with the mirror-like wide chrome bumper up front, it gives this classic the look like it always has a menacing smile (and once you drive it, you'll know exactly why!)
Inside is exactly what you want in a classic muscle machine. Bucket seats, a sports steering wheel, and a full round gauge package: they all have a vintage performance style. But this was fully restored within the last five years, and so not only do the classic pieces look good, but you also have some well-placed upgrades. The stereo is a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. Under the dash is a full auxiliary gauge pack and a large AutoMeter AutoGage tach. It's an instant indicator that you'll love what's under the hood.
The engine bay has the classic look of a big block machine. Those inner fenders are filled with motor, and the air grabber is even made to seal to the cowl hood. But have you looked closer at the callout? While the factory stopped at 454 cubic inches, this SS tribute has a bigger big block with a 502ci crate motor. It inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as long tube headers that feed the H-pipe dual exhaust. This has the right stout pieces, like a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and an upgraded rear with sway bar. In fact, trans and suspension have been rebuilt within the last decade, and we're told there are less than 1k miles on them. Add in power steering and power brakes w/discs up front, and this is an awesome total package that lets you enjoy all the power with ease.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a mean-looking classic with serious street power. And you get to enjoy it all from an A/C interior. Call today!!!
