800 Derita Road, Ste. A
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Convertible has a strong and powerful big block under the hood and the color combo is awesome inside and out. So if you were looking for big power with serious cruising appeal, read on...
A big power Camaro is always going to look its best in red. So we're really happy to see this upgrade to an aggressive hue. And since it was done later in life, you have plenty of gloss on this sunshine-friendly drop-top. There are nice sporty details like the faux velocity stacks in the hood and the D80 rear spoiler. We especially love the look of the correct-style D90 "stinger" stripe. It's part of a well-coordinated dark side with the blackout SS grille, dark rear panel, and a crisp black convertible top. There's even nice brightwork everywhere from the wraparound bumpers to the 15-inch Rally wheels. So it's a total package that bright, aggressive, and absolutely sporty.
For the same reasons we like the look of the black accents on the outside, we really like the black interior. So you get a well-done color combo inside and out. This is the factory-correct Custom black package, and so you get nice details like upgraded door panels and insignia trim in the seats. More great classic Camaro details include the wood-like trim in the desirable center console and the iconic horseshoe shifter. The AM/FM stereo has a classic-style knob presentation, but there's also a cassette player, so it's easier to add modern music players for upgraded driving music in this convertible.
You're going to be lifting the hood wherever you park this Chevy. The engine bay has an impressive presentation with the bold block, shining air topper, and valve covers all radiating from within the clean and dark inner walls. This is the unmistakable look of big block power, and this 396 cubic-inch V8 has been upgraded for even more performance with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, and long tube headers that add power while they also contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This V8 fires up just as cleanly as it looks, and the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a great combination of stout construction and smooth shifting. Plus, you've got power steering, wide radial tires, and power brakes w/discs up front.
This is the sleek and powerful big block convertible that loves to be driven. So if you're looking to cruise a head-tuning Camaro, don't miss this deal. Call now!
