DESCRIPTION
Awesome paint, an A/C interior, and a numbers-matching V8 enhanced for extra power are all part of an irresistible package that this recently restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro offers.
This car has spent over 20 years under same owner, but it has gone less than 400 miles since completing its restoration. So you get the best of both worlds: long term care and a fresh build feeling! The panels were expertly painted with factory correct shade of Azure Turquoise, leaving the coupe with a crisp and clean appearance with a smooth modern clearcoat luster. The shiny paint works with super straight bodywork to offer a combination that truly stands out on arguably the most iconic body style for the Camaro. This distinction is only heightened by the iconic dual racing stripe package. They were part of the plan from the beginning, and so these were laid down with the basecoat to make sure nothing gets in the way of the light rolling evenly across the whole car. And the bumpers, rockers, and all the trim have the same awesome level of smoothness and shine to make sure people keep talking about this car long after it pulls away. There are even nice sporty details, like the D80 rear spoiler and competition style torque thrust wheels.
When you open the door, you're instantly reminded that the restoration budget was about getting everything looking fresh. That's why the factory-correct full black interior looks and feels so nice. The bucket seats, carpeting, door panels, dash, headliner, and all the other essentials have the impression of quality. It really looks correct, right down to the mat in the trunk. But the resonation was not strictly about keeping this factory. There are well-integrated worthwhile upgrades in comfort, like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input, and this now has modern cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. And items like the Chevy sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and large column-mounted tach are all part of a better driver's package.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 307 cubic-inch V8. The fresh look here may just be the largest reminder of how few miles are on this restoration. The smooth color-matched firewall, bold orange block, shining valve covers, matching air topper, and very tidy hoses and wires are all part of a look that will have you lifting the hood with pride at the car shows. But this was made for far more than just a showcase. The V8 was upgraded with Summit Racing heads, a four-barrel carburetor, and an Edelbrock midrise intake. Plus, those long tube headers that add even more power as they contribute to the rumble of the large 2.5-inch dual exhaust. The Saginaw three-speed manual transmission is also original to the car, and it's a cool old-school way to keep you in control of this strong motor. This is a Camaro that's meant to keep you in in firm connection with the road, but it still has nice driving features like front disc brakes and modern sport tires. Plus, the fresh look of the undercarriage is a reminder that this is one you can drive with confidence.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the Camaro that was restored with more of an eye for love than budget. That makes it one of the sleekest and freshest coupes you can get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
