This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 restomod is a build with less than 350 miles on it, and the stunning paint absolutely showcases the freshness of this coupe. Plus, with big block power, an overdrive transmission, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a custom/comfy A/C interior, it's a true cut-above total package icon.
This is the kind of restomod that draws attention and makes others jealous. It starts with the paint. You can tell the cost to a backseat to quality when applying this silver. that has a deep metallic element that will radiate the sunlight every time you take it out for a cruise. Plus, the modern clearcoat highlights the quality of the creases and straightness of this coupe's body. It's such a bright shine that it complements the brightwork, including extra-wide chrome bumpers, full window trim, and SS-style rockers. And detail lovers will enjoy the custom elements like the power bulge cowl hood. Plus, those Billet Specialties 18-inch wheels are an especially thoughtful touch. They are done in a metallic graphite color that harmonizes with the car's color theme while still standing out on their own. Of course, you also notice these alloys because they are part of the killer stance that signals you have an upgraded performance hardtop.
While the exterior restoration is top quality, you know the whole budget wasn't blown there. One look inside, and you'll see all the features you could ever want in an upgraded muscle car. The deep black on the seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner, and dash are all products of the recent restoration. This is a coupe that has plenty of room to carry family and friends, so you'll be especially happy to have a more modern AM/FM radio with USB input and ice-cold air conditioning to keep them all happy. But it's truly a driver's car, and so you get the best upgrades. That means well-bolstered TMI bucket seats up front and a center console in-between. There's a B&M Quicksilver shifter, Chevy sports steering wheel, power steering, a tilt column, and the classic dash is now filled with modern AutoMeter Phantom gauges.
The engine bay has an ultra-clean style that is another reminder of both how fresh and thorough this build is. Black smooth inner fenders go with the black Chevrolet valve covers and air grabber to give this an extra hint of thoughtful style. But more than just look good, you'll love this because it was built for serious power. It's a 454 cubic-inch big block done with all the best go-fast goodies. This includes Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, MSD distributor, and Hedman headers. This also has a ton of quality supporting components. You see it in the major pieces like the serpentine belt system and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It's even down to the little details like the polished fittings. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a TCI unit, and so that means it's both a stout performer and a good overdrive cruiser. The suspension has an awesome full Hotchkis upgrade. This includes a tubular control arm front end, Bilstein rear shocks, Hotchkis springs, and sway bars front and rear. And there's proper grip with an SSBC four-wheel power disc brake system.
This is the award-worthy custom build that's so fresh it looks like you just got it from the restoration shop. So while it would usually take you years to have something this unique complete, this one lets you get right to the fun right now. But the only way to get envious stares tomorrow is if you call today!
