1970 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER T-1298 Originally built in Los Angeles, CA, this 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner has recently been expertly brought back to life, with some highly sought after modifications, of course. Originally built with a 383ci V8, it now sits with the period correct 440ci V8. Unfortunately, the Data/Fender Tag was removed during restoration and we do not have it. However, people today still relate the Roadrunner to the infamous Warner Brothers cartoon characters: Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner. Just when you thought the Coyote had the Road Runner in his grasp, he always got away. The connection is easily made on this awesome 1970 Roadrunner thanks to the likeness of the famous bird running down the side of the car. Eluding the coyote using speed to dodge falling anvils, rolling boulders, or to run past stacks of TNT was the specialty of the cartoon Road Runner. Straight line speed, acceleration, power, and that famous beep beep sound are traits shared with the Plymouth muscle car. See below for the details of the car with corresponding codes.
