DESCRIPTION
This 1979 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has its numbers-matching V8 and has the body decal to show a true Big 10 package. If that wasn't already attractive enough, this one has everything you want - from a cool two-tone to a loaded interior.
The Big 10 is a true legend. These were built with some extra duty in mind. But this one has entered true classic status, and so that means going for some extra cruiser style. The factory-correct two-tone Hawaiian Blue and White was given a nice respray later in life. Plus, the full trim provides a clear dividing line while also perfectly representing this top-of-the-line Silverado model. Bright chrome bumpers, clean headlights, the premium hood ornament, and bed rails are all part of an attractive classic style. But those 22-inch alloys and the lowered suspension are a nice way to give this classic some modern appeal, too.
The interior is pure classic cool with the full blue package. And this loaded Silverado gives you nice features like a comfy velour seat, power locks, and power windows. You may find areas to improve, but it's hard to find any component that doesn't look original. So it has a very cool survivor vibe. There are some more vintage features like the factory air conditioning and an AM/FM 8-track stereo as part of this vintage display, but they will need servicing to fully function again. Plus, it feels like a proper driver with the tilt steering column that gives you a good view of the gauges. And dual fuel tanks and cruise control make this classic a fine long hauler.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor on top. It makes solid power, and the build tag shows the F44 option raises the GVWR for the Big 10 package. So it makes for a great hauler, but that's not why you really want this. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is stout but it's also a smooth shifter, and so that makes for a good cruiser. Plus, the power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires make for a nice weekend driver.
This sale comes with the owner's manual and title documentation. So you've got the awesome legend of the Big 10 Silverado in an attractively presented example. Don't miss this deal, call today!
