DESCRIPTION

Only 90 miles on a body off frame, rotisserie restoration to factory condition. Rare L-89 which is the 396-375 hp (the most hp available) with factory aluminium heads. X-22 on the cowl tag designates SS 396. This car is decked out with the ultimate colors and options.

EXTERIOR: It looks amazing, probably better than it was new. Decked out with Rally Sport hidden headlights, hockey stick stripes, spoilers and exterior trim group. The body is excellent with a smooth, high gloss finish. The trim tag says 72 B which means Hugger orange with black top. The hockey stick stripes are proper dimensions. Literally every single piece of trim is new- the bumpers, emblems, marker lights, door handles, mirrors, stainless trim etc. It even has all new glass all the way around. New vinyl top. The grill is new, headlight doors open and close. The SS wheels are restored and have new trim. BFGoodrich tires are new. Every window seal, weatherstrip and gasket has been replaced.

INTERIOR: The cowl tag code is 713= deluxe black houndstooth. I'm sitting in the car and I literally cannot find a single item that isn't new. In front of me the dash pad, wood grain trim, the heater control panel, lenses, gauges, vents, knobs are all new. Even the glove box liner, ashtray and the chrome ignition bezel is new. It has a tilt column with a new steering wheel. Down on the floor it has new carpet, all new reproduction seat belts and a new console with factory gauges. The seats have new cushions and sharp looking new houndstooth upholstery. New deluxe molded door panels with new handles and cranks. Overhead the visors, headliner, dome light and shoulder belts are new. It has a digital retro stereo.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 1969 L-89 396-375 hp motor with factory aluminium heads. It is completely authentic on the outside with correct codes and components. It has been completely rebuilt and bored to 408 cubic inches. Recently Dyno tuned at 438 hp and 428 lbs of torque! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.

Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
