800 Derita Road, Ste. A
This 1927 Ford Highboy has all the right classic style but also carries plenty of subtle modern upgrades. The result is a cool vintage machine that's an overall thoughtful hot rod.
This one has a crisp and clean old-school look that's irresistible. After all, it just looks like you turned back the clock with the deep forest green paint, cream solid wheels, and clutter-free sleek body. But the real trick here is that this is actually a new fiberglass build that's estimated to be only about five years old. So it has a solid feeling out on the road while people think they were just passed by a post-war street machine.
The interior continues the classic hot rod style that also offers an added freshness and features. For example, you still get the cool wraparound bench seat tuck and roll pleating, but it has the right supple yet durable feel. There are the little extras you want, like good carpeting, seatbelts, and turn signals. You've got the right driver features, like a sports steering wheel, tall shifter, and a dash dominated by crisp Omega Kustom gauges.
The engine bay has a clean look that you'll love, and that hood comes off in case you want to really put all that shine on display. This 350 cubic-inch V8 is built right with Summit Racing aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock finned valve covers, and a matching air topper. There are thoughtful details for a better driver, like the aluminum radiator w/electric fan. Those sweet-looking lakes-style headers have a muffler built in so you get a terrific V8 tune that isn't too overbearing. You also have a three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, front discs, and modern radial tires.
Titled as a 1927 Ford Replica, classic style with a fresher feel makes for a secretly rewarding roadster. So if you want a head-turner that also is a solid driver, don't miss this highboy. Call now!
