DESCRIPTION
This 1967 Chevrolet C10 is all about vintage distinction. After all, when was the last time you saw a cool stepside in long bed form? And the whole pickup loves to show off a bright style while never losing sight of an honest day's work.
A truck like this is a real treat. It's the kind of timeless package that (just like a hard day's work,) always gets respect. The light green paint has a bright look and the right 1960s vibe. And the white on the bumpers, grille, and tailgate lettering has a nice touch of a two-tone effect. This is uniquely detailed where the finish has the right look to invoke your nostalgia but there are also the right imperfections left in the body to reflect over a half-century of getting to work. And that's why it really embodies the true truck personality so well. Even the upgrades are smartly done to keep with the classic style. You see in places like the Chevy rally wheels and the fresh lumber that showcases the extra length of the long bed.
The green and white two-tone of the exterior returns inside on the cool-looking dash. But what you might like the best are the darker pieces. The dash pad, carpet, and door panels have the clean look of newer investments. And the seat is a modern TMI unit with plenty of bolstering to feel terrific. And this one loves to be a solid driver. You'll appreciate the worn-in feeling of the steering wheel as it instantly connects you to generations of workmen. And the upgraded gauges, including the handy tach, make for a nicer cruiser.
Lift the hood and see a true marvel. Hardly any of the smooth running straight-six engines are seen in 1960s vintage Chevy trucks anymore. But these anvils of a motor were the backbone of the company's dependability reputation, and they are great for torque. This example is a year-correct block and is believed to be original to the truck. All those clean components show off a recent tune-up and newer investment in pieces like the carburetor, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, hoses, radiator, and newer exhaust. This truck likes to give you an old-school feel, right down to the three-speed manual transmission. But the modern Cooper Cobra tires, newer brake lines, and the C10's trailing arm rear suspension make it a proper cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and original warranty card. This is a classic, honest, and cool long bed stepside pickup. So if you like something truly vintage that also has true distinction, call today!
