DESCRIPTION
With its distinctive style, good features list, and numbers-matching V8, this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette is the kind of classic you'll love driving everywhere. And that value price means more money in your pocket for weekend getaways in this T-top coupe.
Dark blue is a color you'd find in '73, but the finish here is even more vivid than what the factory was offering. This strikes the right balance of a nice metallic glow in the sunshine, and at the same time, it has a driver-quality appearance that's easy to take out on a whim. And that's the overall goal of this Corvette. It looks good when you're out having fun. So the bumpers have a nice shine, the panels line up nicely, and the doors close with confidence. Plus, there's extra distinction from the custom-painted silver metallic stripe package that showcases the power dome of the hood and side scoops for a sportier style.
The blue interior looks nice against the dark blue metallic exterior, and you can show off this interesting color combo quite easily thanks to the T-tops. The bucket seats look quite fresh, the dash is smooth, the center console looks nice, and the lop carpeting feels plush. You've got plenty of premium features, including power windows, an upgraded AM/FM stereo with CD changer, and provisions for factory air conditioning (it needs servicing to blow again). It feels nice to slip behind the three-spoke steering wheel. Just ahead of that is the large dual pod gauges for the speedo and tach, and to the side are a full set of auxiliary readouts at the ideal eye level.
The engine bay has some added polish on the air grabber, valve covers, and more. But what we really like is that this is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch motor. The V8 inhales deeply as the working fresh air cowl hood feeds the four-barrel carburetor. And the way this motor runs demonstrates the right care and maintenance. The three-speed transmission and power steering are great for grand touring, and the fully independent suspension and four-wheel power disc brakes are great for a sharp driver.
There are details you may want to upgrade, like restoring the air conditioning or adding new sport tires. But that's all about taking a solid driving classic and enhancing the reasons to enjoy it even more out on the road. So you know this is an irresistible and distinct coupe. Call today!!!
