DESCRIPTION
When you're looking for that turn-key classic that's distinctive, affordable, and can carry all your family and friends, this 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air fits everything you want and much more.
The Fawn Beige is a great classic color, and it has been resprayed to make sure it has the right look of nostalgia. And this classic sedan also loves to be a true cruiser. There's a touch of street machine style with upgrades like the 15-inch Ridler wheels and tinted windows. Plus, the factory did a great job with the details. You see it in the side trim that's a spear zooming up the full-length of the sedan. It also provides a direct connection to the trim that wraps around the rear. It's the same line that highlights the dipping "V" design that you could only get in '61. This one is full of sporty classic style, right down to the spoiler-like overhang in the rear that frames the wraparound rear glass.
Two wide rows of bench seats, classic seatbelts, a dual-spoke Bel Air steering wheel, and plenty of bright trim are part of a highly detailed interior. And we especially like how the cloth inserts in the seats are repeated in the doors. It makes for a true classic car feeling. And just like the exterior, the cruiser-friendly upgrades are subtle but worthwhile. You now have a Lokar floor shifter and a handy oil pressure readout. And the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner means upgraded driving music.
Under the hood is a clean and classic 250 cubic-inch inline-six. It looks impressively clean like the proud workhorse it is. They even upgrade this to a Powerglide automatic transmission to really give it that classic sedan feeling. There are plenty of you dreaming about dropping in some potent V8 power. And the Powerglide is already in place if you're thinking about a quarter-mile king. But what we really like about this one is how it makes for such an honest and true classic cruiser. And there's something special about the feeling of the smooth inline motor and the deep well of torque that gets you down the road with ease. Plus, there were more upgrades to go towards this solid driver's feeling. That's why you have power brakes, front discs, and wide modern tires. There was even a more recent investment in the rear suspension.
The right vintage features and tasteful upgrades make this a custom cruiser with a ton of appeal. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
