DESCRIPTION
This 1966 Ford Mustang has a bright full red glow and fastback distinction to make a great first impression. And as you dig into the details you'll see everything from cool GT-style details to upgraded V8 power to make it the kind of coupe you can really enjoy.
An early first-generation Mustang 2+2 is already a great classic. The styling blends artful touches like the cool fastback roofline with the subtle aggressive deep C-channel that runs along the profile. And of course, they always look good in red. This was an upgrade later in life, and so it has a good luster and a modern clearcoat shine that will attract plenty of attention from afar. And with a good shine on the bumpers and trim, this is a sharp-looking coupe. It has an aggressive look that earns sporty features, including the GT style trumpeted dual exhaust tips coming out of the rear valance, deleted front bumper guards, and a bright set of styled steel wheels. The total package makes for a classic that's ready to hit the road, and get the right nods everywhere it arrives.
More red awaits you inside and the full setup is clean and sporty. The uniform quality appearance on the seats, dash, carpeting, floor mats, seatbelts, and more all show a solid investment in the fundamentals. You'll even appreciate the details like the grippy sports steering wheel done in red and the fold-flat rear seat.
The engine bay has the clean look of a well-upgraded car. Ford fans in '66 would have to wait a few more years to get the 302 cubic-inch V8 in the pony car, but today we already know it fits in there so nicely. This one is well built with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock high-rise intake, and finned Ford Motorsports valve covers. This also has the right supporting components like an Accel coil and a newer aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up eagerly and mikes a nice tune out of the dual exhaust. This one likes you to feel the road a little more than some others out there. But they also made investments in the right places, like modern Hankook tires and electric power steering!
This is the fastback that has been given all the right investments to be a great driver and a true head-turner. So if you love enjoying your classics, don't miss this upgraded V8 pony. Call today!!!
