VOLO AUTO MUSEUM

4,652 actual miles and it is pristine. 2 owners. We bought it from the woman the has owned it since 1997. She has obviously pampered it. #506 of only 1,000 built. The convertibles were Indy Pace Cars. SVT cranked up the performance on the Mustang and it was called a Cobra. More hp, better handling, bigger brakes etc. This one is loaded and has some upgrades too. The manuals, literature, extra keys and SVT certificate are included.
EXTERIOR: It is pristine. No dents, damage or rust. The original paint still looks practically new. If you look really hard you might find a small touch up. It even feels slick to the touch. The pace car decals for the doors are still new in the box. Jambs are spotless, weatherstrips are excellent. Glass is crystal clear, windows are all tinted. The power top is tan cloth and like new. It has a few upgrades including custom headlight assemblies (originals are included) and a custom grill. The factory wheels are mint, the clear coat is actually still high gloss. Performance Nitto tires are new a few months ago. The windows are all tinted including the custom headlights and grill. New tires in the last few months. Features unique to the Cobra are a unique front fascia with fog lamps, rear spoiler, unique wheels and chrome Cobra emblems.
INTERIOR: Upgraded with Shelby style roll bar with brake light. I think the inside of this car is immaculate. No abuse or damage at all. It's not even dirty, the nooks and crannies are clean. The light color carpet is not stained. Soft, poofy genuine leather upholstery. I'm looking at the console, the light color carpets and seats, everything is excellent. It has not been smoked in, the cigarette lighter and ashtray have not been used. The leather wrapped steering wheel has fingertip controls for the cruise control and it's on a tilt column. Optional equipment includes power seat, cd changer, power windows and locks. The manual is in the glovebox. The Cobra includes white face gauges, Indy logo embroidered on seats, Cobra floormats and the SVT numbered plaque.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 1994 Cobra's 5.0-liter V-8 delivered 25 more horsepower than the Mustang GT, thanks to modifications to the cylinder heads, roller rockers, valve springs and upper intake manifold to increase the engines breathing ability. Upgraded with BBK cold air induction (original is included). The motor compartment looks factory new down to the stickers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It looks immaculate inside the trunk. The weather stripping is still soft, the gas struts hold the trunk lid open.
UNDERSIDE: Front: Modified MacPherson strut type with separate spring on lower arm, 400 lbs./in. linear-rate coil springs, 25mm stabilizer bar. Rear: Rigid axle, four trailing links, two leading hydraulic links, 160 lbs./in. linear-rate coil springs, 27mm stabilizer bar. Brakes are vented discs at all 4 wheels, 13 inch in front. The dual exhaust is stainless, still says Ford on the mufflers. It has rack & pinion steering. Looking up at the motor it is clean. The 5 speed trans is clean. It has a 3.08 posi rear. The bottom of this car is clean original with factory stickers and markings still showing.
The woman we bought it from had the car serviced right before we bought it. That should tell you how well she took care of this car, who does a full service on a car they are going to sell? Full synthetic oil change, full trans flush with synthetic, rear differential flush with synthetic fluid and new gasket, coolant flush and chassis inspection. We have had many low mile cars from the 90s, this is one of the cleanest, best cared for. This is a collector car on the rise!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!
