DESCRIPTION

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is all about upgrades. That means a modern silk paint, a custom A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, an upgraded suspension, and an overdrive transmission. And to make it a true restomod, it's all powered by a modern fuel-injected LS1 V8.

The graphite metallic paint is an unmistakably modern color that won't confuse this car for anything straight from the factory. You can tell there was a quality investment in a professional application, and so there's an even gloss across the whole body. And with only about 6k miles on this build since its comprehensive restoration, this car is also striking even in person. In fact, since this is a modern build, it loves to show off modern style. So the brightwork goes over to the dark side on the bumpers, trim, and door handles. It now coordinates with the blackout grille and chin spoiler. Deleted badging and 18-inch Boss wheels are all part of this modern update. But there are all the right period-correct performance pieces, too, like the super scoop cowl hood and full-length rear spoiler. Plus, the addition of the later SS-stripe painted on top in black adds to the aggression and overall thoughtful coordination.

The same feeling of modern upgrades and period-correct details continues inside. For example, the bucket seats with houndstooth cloth inserts are iconic to the first-gen Camaro, but the seats are actually the high-back buckets borrowed from the fourth-gen car (another nod to the LS-power under the hood.) There's even an upgraded center console for the rear. There are additional comfort upgrades, like the retro sound AM/FM stereo with aux input and cold blowing air conditioning. The grippy sports steering wheel is on a tilt column, and beyond that is a Dakota Digital gauge package that includes a large speedo and tach. All of this gives your senses the tingle of something special in the engine bay.

Everywhere you park, you'll want to lift the hood just to show off this powerhouse. After all, people will be expecting serious Chevy power, but this motor is sure to really get them talking. The 5.7-liter fuel-injected LS1 V8 was the motor to bring the Corvette into the modern age of performance, and it was also part of the Camaro's later legacy. The V8 fires up eagerly, and it exhales with authority as headers feed the H-pipe dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The modern 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission was built to handle the LS power and even provide overdrive comfort. And take some time to look at all the undercarriage photos. The suspension has been upgraded with QA1 A-arms with coilovers up front, subframe connectors, and a rear sway bar. Plus, there's power steering, modern ZR-rated tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes.

This is the all-around awesome build that you've always wanted. So don't let something so complete slip away. Call today!!!
