This 1951 custom Ford Woodie Country Squire is a show winner all the way around. When it comes to building over the top customs our clients cars have all won multiple National Awards and this one is no exception. This 51 was built for show and go. The first step, as is in most high-end builds, was to completely disassemble the car and correct every imperfection. The suspension was up-graded to a Fat-Man clip with a Mustang II I.F.S. and in the rear a 8.8 Ford Ranger rear-end was added with 3:73 gears. A power rack and pinion was added with power steering, in addition to front and rear sway bars and four wheel Bear Disc Brakes. The subtle body modifications have the firewall filled and smoothed and the power brake booster frenched into the firewall. Custom fabricated engine compartment with hand built fender side aprons. Power is supplied by a Ford 5.0 HO fuel injected engine with Ford A.O.D. transmission with Ford S.V.O. ceramic coated headers. The engine compartment has had custom fabricated engine with fender side aprons being hand built for the car. The hood was nosed, filled and slightly peaked with frenched headlights and flared wheel wells. The door handles were shaved with Bear Claw electric latches installed for the doors and the tailgate. The rear of the Woodie received some up-grades as well with custom fabricated lower tailgate skin and L.E.D. 1937 Ford tail lights, third brake light, and parking lights. The rain drip rails were molded to the body and the spare tire mounted under body at the rear bumper. The Woodies paint is a flawless, mirror finish, P.P.G. Midnight Emerald Mica. The over the top custom leather interior was completed by Armandos Custom Upholstery of San Jacinto, CA. Custom steel center console, power drivers seat, custom fabricated swing from above brake pedal, ididit tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, power windows and doors, Vintage Air A/C and heater, stock speedometer, re-newed clock, and 12 volt electrical. The interior wood headliner bows were fabricated and installed by Woodie expert Ron Heiden. The exterior hand fabricated wood was installed by Rick Mack Enterprises and was finished off with a clear coat application. Nothing was left undone on this modern classic and it is one of the best ones we have ever seen. Offered at $152,500 obo.
