1971 Plymouth Road Runner

The 1971 Plymouth Road Runner was part of the Satellite Group with their fuselage body design which was specifically designed for the sporty look. There were over 50 options to choose from when ordering a Road Runner. It came stocked with the 383-cid high-performace V8, 3-speed manual floor-mounted transmission, deep pile carpeting, iconic "Beep-Beep" horn, plus many standard safety features. Fifty-five Road Runners were equipped with the "Street Hemi" - 28 of those were 4-speeds. Only 356 Mopars total came equipped with the "Street Hemi" motor. Other features on the Road Runner were high-flow cylinder heads, 4-barrel carburetion and heavy-duty brakes and suspension.
