Low mileage, great colors, stunning style, and huge power come together to make this 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 an awesome modern classic. It's the 500 horsepower supercharged coupe that's the right combination of low mileage and the right investments to give you a distinct and desirable pony car.
The correct Alloy Clearcoat Metallic is a terrific color. It has the dark attitude you want in an intimidating coupe. It also has a deep silvery glow that always reminds you that this is something special. But more than just attractive, these GT500s were built to handle extra speed and power. So there are plenty of the right performance components. This wears the Carroll-Shelby sanctioned upgrades with pride in places like the deep chin spoiler, vented hood, full-width rear spoiler, and the iconic full racing stripe package. Plus, this has some added flair from a set of Sevizia 20-inch wheels that had $1,400 in new Nexen performance tires put on earlier this year.
Black interiors always look terrific on muscle machines, and on this low-mileage car, the leather interior remains clean and complete. But while the color gives this a deep and dark attitude, all the features give this a comfortable and welcoming feeling. It's loaded with air conditioning, a power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, and cruise control. The stereo is an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system that runs the radio, Bluetooth, sat nav, and backup camera. Plus, a modern classic means modern safety with features like dual front airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock brakes. And you'll love the sporty detail work, right down to the red stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel that matches the red SVT logo in the special gauges.
While this one looks fantastic inside and out, what really makes the GT500 an instant classic is under the hood. These received a variation of the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 found in the Ford GT supercar, and this one is matching/original unit to the car. This fuel-injected powerhouse brings 500 horsepower to the streets, and you have full control thanks to the six-speed manual transmission. In fact, we're told this gearbox was replaced about 9k miles ago for added stoutness. So this pony car is a shark on the blacktop. Not only does it retain the factory decals in the engine bay, but this low-mileage Shelby even still has factory stickers and markings on the suspension. Of course, the real desire is less about admiring decals, and it's more about driving. You're going to feel the back roads calling every day thanks to a sports suspension, thick sway bars front & rear, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes with extra-strong Brembos in front.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance records. This is power, style, and true Shelby collectability wrapped on a terrific total package. Call today!!!
