DESCRIPTION
Only 4600 miles. #31 of 151 made! The P-51 isn't just a few emblems and parts slapped on. It was a new Mustang delivered to Roush Performance where the car was taken down to its unibody and rebuilt by hand with a long list of very significant cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. The Roush cost more than the car did new! The car cost $27,445, Roush upgrade cost $34,073. Documented with Roush window sticker.
EXTERIOR: The Vapor paint with a painted on army green stripe is very fitting. It has P-51 emblems on the fenders and rear panel. It has the Roush aero body kit which includes chin spoiler, black high flow grill, fog, lamps, hood scoop, quarter window louvers and rear wing. It also comes with smoked taillights and tinted windows. Unique 18 inch forged wheels with the Roush name and then are chromed. They have high performance BFG tires.
INTERIOR: Roush gave it a 2 tone leather and suede upholstery with P-51 logos embroidered on the seats. It also received carbon fiber trim pieces that complement the color scheme. Other upgrades include a nostalgic short throw shifter, 4 piece pedal kit, electro luminescent gauges with Jack Roush's signature. It also has P-51 embroidered floor mats, Roush sill plates. Factory features include power seat reclining with power lumbar, a Shaker 500 stereo with 6 disc, one touch power windows, power locks, tilt wheel etc. It is like new inside. The manuals are in the glovebox.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This isn't just a 4.6 that's been "tweaked", it's making 510 hp and 510 lbs of torque! It has the TVS Roushcharger, upgraded intake, high flow injectors, custom fuel rail, dual 60mm electronic throttle body, intercooler, cold air induction system with carbon fiber tube. Inside it has forged pistons, forged H-beam rods, forged crank. It was given a Roush ECM tune. It has an upgraded radiator. Dressed up with billet caps on the radiator, oil and strut tower caps. There is a special P-51 plaque with the signature of the person that built the engine and a signature of the person that built the chassis.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It opens by the remote on the key chain. The trunk compartment is carpeted. It also has a unique Roush tool kit.
UNDERSIDE: The fuel system was upgraded. It has a Tremec 5-speed with Roush upgraded clutch with aluminum flywheel. It was treated to a Roush Stage 3 suspension which includes front struts, rear shocks, springs, sway bars, pinion snubbed and a wheel hop kit. Under the car still looks close to new. It's obvious it has only been driven in fair weather, the assembly line stickers and markings are still visible throughout. It has an optional high flow stainless steel dual exhaust system. It features rack & pinion steering and 4 wheel disc brakes.
This is a highly collectable Mustang. It is also a very desirable Mustang with its good looks and killer performance. It has a lot to offer especially for the price!
