This 1973 Ford F-100 gives you a bit more. It\'s in the paint\'s flair, the interior\'s comfort, and the larger V8 under the hood. It all makes for a solid classic pickup value with a ton of potential.

This pickup looks fantastic in an updated shade of dark gray metallic. There\'s something cool about how this one subtly upgrades the classic style. The front end seems downright sporty with the blackout lettering, upgraded grille, and clear headlights. Along the side, the C-channel stripe looks like it belongs on a Mustang. And the bright 15-inch outlaw-style wheels give this a nice stance. The rear deletes the badging on the tailgate, and that gives a smoother style that goes nicely with the chrome step bumper. But the whole fit and finish here are never about getting too fancy to make you shy away from real pickup work. Bright tie-down rails and a diamond plate tailgate lip make it easier to use the bed. And tow mirrors, a wiring plug, and a proper trailer hitch make it easy to tow the toys.

Just like the exterior, the interior is about being practical. For example, the bench has comfortable cloth and even the classic upper-model trim in the seatbacks. And it feels complete, right down to the working dome light. There are also nice cruiser features like a sliding rear window, cup holders, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input to charge your phone.

The VIN tells us this was born with a 302 cubic-inch V8. That\'s quite a fine motor, but we\'re happier to see the upgrade to an FE block here. After all, more displacement means more power/torque to get the job done. There are even nice details like the polished valve covers, newer plug wires, and a newer distributor. There\'s even a glass pack-style dual exhaust for a nice throaty tune. There are also good driving features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

This is a cool vintage F-Series. And there are some nice opportunities here to take this truck to the next level, including restoring/updating the factory air conditioning and giving it a tune-up (or adding fuel injection!) But from day one, it\'s nice to have something distinctive and well-presented that knows how to turn heads while it gets to work. Call now!
