DESCRIPTION

I drove this car home last night and it impressed me so much I couldn't wait to write the ad this morning. It rode, handled and performed spot on. Things functioned properly. No squeaks, rattles or wind leaks (unusual for a convertible). The car looks amazing and has great features too. It is one of the exceptional ones.

EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is amazing. The body is completely straight, everything fits real nice. It is smooth along the bottoms, I don't see any issues or bubbles. The bright red paint is polished like red glass. The white stripe around the nose is painted on smoothly. The jambs are painted slick, new weather strips and window seals. It has front and rear spoilers. It also has the Rally Sport which includes Hideaway headlights, wide rocker moldings and relocated reverse lights. The headlights have electric motors and open quickly. Up front it looks like the grill, emblems and spoiler are new. On the sides the rocker mouldings, wheel well trim, emblems, mirror look new. In back it has new taillights and gas cap, bumper looks original. It rolls on a set of 17 inch billet rally wheels and Pirelli performance tires. The tires are a little bigger in back. The windshield looks new, the windows fit really well. It has power windows and they all work. It has a white power top in excellent condition. The top frame was painted and has new weather strips.

INTERIOR: Very nice, tidy and not abused whatsoever. The deluxe has upgraded upholstery and molded door panels. It has a new premium Al Knoch interior. New cushions, upholstery, door panels, carpet. The console looks new. It has new rubber mats, t GM seat belts front and back look excellent. are an excellent condition the center console looks like it's new. In front of me is a new dash pad, heater control panel is nice and all the levers move easily. It has a factory AM-FM radio that was updated with modern technology. The deluxe steering wheel does have a crack at the bottom. The mirror looks new, visors are original.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality motor compartment. Very desirable features include factory air conditioning, power steering and brakes. Original #s matching 327 was rebuilt and upgraded with an Edelbrock intake and a 4 barrel carb. It is dressed up with finned valve covers. All the components look new including the distributor cap, wires, brackets, alternator etc. The air conditioning has been serviced, several new parts and upgraded to R134 freeon. The power brake booster, master and lines are new. The power steering pump is new. The radiator, hoses, shroud look proper. The wiper motor looks new, squirters are hooked up. It has a Delco battery topper, the battery is secured, the cables are new. The metal surfaces are clean and have nice paint finishes. It has new hood insulation under the hood.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk is very clean, solid metal with a grey spatter paint. It has a new mat and matching cover over the spare tire. The "shaker cans" are in place. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are slick. It has new weatherstrip, decals and well liner.

UNDERSIDE: It looks like a new car. The front end is completely rebuilt and detailed. It even has factory tags and markings reapplied. The rear suspension is new- bushings, shocks and lowering blocks. New fuel system- tank, insulators, straps and sending unit. The brakes are new- disc conversion in front, new lines, hoses and e-brake cables. Looking up at the motor it looks fresh. It has a new flywheel cover and starter. The Powerglide automatic looks fresh too. It has original 10 bolt rear with 3.08 gears. The fluid was changed. The exhaust looks new and has good sounding Flowmaster mufflers. The floor are clean metal painted black.

I drive thousands of old cars and like I said, this one impressed me. It looks and functions as close to new as you will find. Being a Rally Sport convertible with all these great features makes this a very desirable Camaro!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.

Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
