This 1989 Buick Century is a rare, loaded, and low-mileage survivor of a seldom-seen machine. It makes for a distinctive and detail-oriented classic offered for quite a nice price.
You just don't see too many Buicks from this era anymore, especially as nicely presented as this one. Of course, averaging under 500 miles annually is a telltale sign of a coupe that has been treated with care for decades. And we understand exactly why this one gets respect. It's part of a bygone era of long and stylish American two-doors. The black paint shows all signs of being original, and while it shows some enjoyment, it retains an overall look of quality. A coupe lends itself to a sporty feeling, and the color-matched bumpers, wraparound rear panel, and upgraded tinted windows have that style. But as a true Buick, there is a feeling of elegance, too. It's everywhere from the wire wheel covers to the full-length pinstripe.
A plush cloth awaits you inside this upper-class Custom model. It's nice how the tan pinstripe on the outside was a preview of the factory interior color. Also, just like the exterior, the interior still looks amazing thanks to a survivor-level of care. All the wood-like trim coordinates nicely while it also provides extra distinction. This can seat up to six, but fold down the front armrest, and it provides you with individual luxury. This coupe comes loaded with power windows, power locks, rear defogger, tilt steering column, and the original AM/FM/cassette stereo. Because you want to eat away the miles in comfort, there are great cruising features like a power driver's seat, cruise control, and cold-blowing air conditioning.
The engine bay continues the car's time capsule presentation. But you'll like this one for more than just its looks. One of Buick's most durable and well-developed engines is the fuel-injected V6 series. This 3.3-liter motor is torquey, efficient, and hardy. This is believed to be the original factory engine, and it has been maintained to make sure it delivers the kind of power and poise you expect from a personal luxury Buick. The four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive is a smooth shifter that loves highway cruising. Plus, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a supple ride offer quite an attractive grand touring experience.
A Century coupe is a rare sight in this century. So a well-presented survivor is an attractive deal for those who love luxury and distinction. Call today!!!
