Dart 1973

Title Status --
Exterior Color White
Interior Color Black

This 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger has a well-coordinated color combo, speedy style, its numbers-matching V8, and the overall charm of a cool-looking Mopar hardtop. So when you can get it all for such a value price, then you know it's time to pay attention.

A color like Eggshell White has timeless appeal. This was given a respray later in life so that its good gloss can show off the clean and straight panels of this Dart. The white also makes for a nice background to let some of your favorite parts stand out in high-contrast black. It includes speedy-style components like the double scoop trim on the hood, bumblebee tail stripe, and Go Wing full-width rear spoiler. It also shows off some premium style with the taut black vinyl roof. Mirror-like chrome bumpers, wide dual exhaust tips, and classic Mopar Rallye wheels complete quite an impressive package.

All the black accents of the outside get you ready for the full black interior. We love the look of a classic bench seat car, especially with the nice detailed stitching. There are plenty of other nice details for a classic appearance. You have stock-style pieces including the wood-like trim in the door panels, working dome light, and correct under-dash air conditioning vents (it will need components and servicing if you want it to blow cold again.) There are also nice upgrades for a better driver's coupe. This includes a full set of white-faced Speedhut gauges with a large speedo and tach. And the AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth means the best in modern driving music.

The engine bay has a clean and tidy style. This is an interesting setup where you have a 340 callout, but the block is actually the numbers-matching 318 unit. This has newer investments in upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Taylor plug wires, and an aluminum radiator. You can tell this has been a well-respected total package by the way the motor fires up easily, idles smoothly, and the three-speed automatic transmission shifts cleanly. Plus, power steering, a newer power brake booster, front discs, and wide white-letter radials make for an all-around solid driver.

Complete with owner's manual, this is the Mopar that has a detailed style that likes to impress. So if you're looking for a distinctive Dart, don't miss this hardtop. Call now!
