An affordable Stingray is already alluring... but rarely do you find a stick-shift, T-top 1973 Chevrolet Corvette with its original V8 and long-term care. That's why this sleek machine is a fleeting opportunity.

A Corvette in red is always a treat, and this is presented in its factory-correct Mille Miglia Red. So it was born a bold machine. And history is what this car has a lot of. It has been with the same owner for half its life thus far, and in fact, he claims the car has been in his family since 1975. So the swoopy lines of the C3 have the crisp look from a lifetime of proper care. There were even the right investments along the way, including re-chroming the rear bumper about five years ago. And at that time there was also a new front bumper added. This is particularly important because 1973 was the debut of the urethane front bumper. These gave the C3 an appearance of one long continuous wave, and so it's great to have this distinctive piece looking good.

The corvette is a true red-blooded American sports car, and so one of the best ways to show it off is with a full red package. That's why we love that this was also born with a red interior. The odometer is believed to represent the total actual mileage - averaging less than 1,800 miles annually. That's far less use than the average car, and that feeling is reflected in the highly original interior. Everything from the high-back bucket seats to the correct AM/FM radio gives you the right classic car feeling. In fact, the only replacement here was newer carpeting that has the correct weave but a fresher feel. You'll love hopping in, grabbing the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and gazing at the deep dual pod speedo and tach as you cruise around in your classic 'Vette. While this one has provisions for factory air conditioning (it will need a recharge,) the best breeze will be when you take out the T-tops and let the world see the smile on your face.

The numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 is still providing the power under the hood. This is the optional L82 unit, and it looks great sitting in the engine bay with its chrome distributor shield and ribbed valve covers. Plus, if you're a Corvette person, we bet you're marveling at how the air grabber still has the correct diaphragm to help breath the cowl hood's cooler air. The trusty small-block has been well maintained to fire up on command, and its four-barrel carburetor setup helps deliver a throaty exhaust note. It has a great throttle response, and you get complete control over this V8 with the desirable and original Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features like the fully-independent suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, a Positraction rear end, and the grip of newer BF Goodrich T/A tires, and this is one of the best all-around sports cars of the '70s.

The sale comes compete with the owner's manual and service manuals. This Stingray has been treated like a member of the family, and so it makes this one desirable even beyond its cool color combo, desirable stick-shift, and value price. Call today!!
