GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1986 Jeep CJ-7 for your consideration. This beast of a Jeep is powered by a Chevrolet Performance 350 V8 mated to a TH-350 3-speed automatic transmission. It features a Dana 30 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle with 4.10 gears at both ends. It also has a Dana 300 transfer case which was resealed in 2019. The 350 V8 is one of the most popular crate motors to be swapped into a variety of vehicles for its cost effectiveness and power. It is a great choice for this ready to go Jeep CJ-7.
As for comfort features, there isn't a whole lot on this Jeep, but that's the point. It has everything necessary for an awesome off-road adventure or even just a cruise to your local beach town. An aftermarket tachometer has been fitted on the interior along with a Lokar floor-mounted shifter. This Jeep is finished with a red exterior over black interior. Smittybuilt front and rear bumpers have been added and add not only protection, but also complement the rugged look of the vehicle. The 16-inch wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires.
A lot of mechanical work as recently been done including a new battery, master cylinder, and the already mentioned resealing of the transfer case. Also, the transmission received a new pan in 2019. This beast is excited and ready to start out on new adventures with its next owner. Please call or email today with any questions or for additional information.
