 Vehicle Description
This attractive 1969 MGB has had only one owner from new. Clad in correct British Racing Green with a black top and wire wheels, this quintessential English sports car is in good condition -- and ready for its second owner to enjoy for many years to come.

This MG was repainted once, many years ago -- however it still wears original paint in the door jambs, under the hood and in the trunk. The paint quality is presentable with a close inspection revealing some flaws -- but there is no evidence of rust or rust repair and the panel gaps are good all around. Some of the rubbers are original and showing their age; glass and chrome are original and show well with a slight patina on the bumpers. Some of the interior has been reupholstered and some is original but it shows well for a "driver" -- it does have a few dash cracks. All of the original gauges are functioning as well as the heater blower, horn, lights and wipers. A newer CD player has been installed with speakers under the dash and behind the seats. The convertible top shows as new and an original full tonneau in black is included.

The wire knock-off wheels are in good condition with a matching spare and newer tires. The original tool kit is in the trunk and includes the jack, hammer and knock-off wrench. Mechanically the car is sound; it runs and drives well and has been exercised regularly in good weather. The odometer stopped working many years (although the speedometer still works fine). Actual mileage is unknown, but the owner estimates she only drove the car 2,000 to 3,000 miles per year during her 45 years of ownership. It has been maintained by a local MG specialist for many years and is remarkably dry underneath (however I will never make the claim that any English car is completely leak free).

A one-owner, well-maintained chrome-bumper B is hard to come by and this car offers a great opportunity for the enthusiast owner to take care of some minor cosmetics on his or her timeline while enjoying the vehicle.
