1950 Studebaker Commander
With the increase of sales allowing Studebaker to have one of its best years to date, they could not have predicted that its operations would come to an end in another 14 years. Studebaker took its boldest step yet with a refashioning of its automobiles to include a bullet nose front end. The new front end led the way for future strong central grille styling that would appear on later models such as the Edsel and Pontiac.
Total production for the 1950 Studebaker Commander totalled 72,562 units built.
