 Vehicle Description
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Chevrolet El Camino. Here we have an El Camino that is very nicely restored with a lot of money invested. Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 CID V8 engine and Turbo 350 automatic transmission followed by a 12 bolt rear-end with 2.73 gears. It has a complete new exhaust system, water pump, front brakes, tires, head liner, carpet w/ thermo insulation, drag link, rebuilt carburetor, weather stripping, retrofitted 134a AC, air shocks, heater core, hood insulation, ignition, halogen head lights, and power steering pressure hose. Needless to say, the Chevy is ready to hit the road. Options include: AC, AM radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and rally wheels. The 1972 was the last year for the third generation. The 1972 El Caminos wore single-unit parking and side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille, but little changed. For 1972, horsepower measurements were switched to the "net" figures as installed in a vehicle with all accessories and emission controls hooked up. This car was originally a California car and is still solid. If you are looking for a nice driving, classic El Camino, give this one a look. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Call 618-271-3000 for more information.
