1972 Ford F-100

Inside the ’72 Fords, all interiors are color coordinated with exteriors and feature amenities such as armrests, seat belts, 2-speed windshield wipers and recessed door latch handles.  Differing interior features was available on the Custom, Sport Custom, Ranger or Ranger XLT packages each one more sophisticated than the next.  On the outside, a bright front grille and chrome bumper made of heavy gauge steel is standard. Power brakes are standard on most F100 – F350 models.  F100 and F250 series are available in Styleside or Flareside pickups and chassis-cabs with either 2 or 4 wheel drive.  F350’s are offered in Flareside pickups and single or dual rear wheel stakes and chassis-cabs. The chassis is designed for durability and hoods have double-wall sections for extra rigidity and the box is welded instead of bolted for extra durability.  Six-man crew cabs were available as a factory engineered and installed package on F250’s F350’s, and F600’s and came in 6.5 ft. or 8 ft. Styleside or Flareside pickups, Camper Specials or as chassis-cabs.
