1970 Oldsmobile Toronado

The 1970 Oldsmobile Toronado was restyled with a few design changes including fixed headlamps, instead of the previous years concealed lamps. The exciting new came with the introduction of the GT version of the Toronado which featured a dual exhausts with a notched rear bumper, nugget gold metallic paint with black wheel arch pin-stripes and a GT hood badge and most excitingly a special cam and torque converter combined with a 455 V8 engine rated at 400 hp. Oldsmobile fans and performance seekers were thrilled and purchased 5,341 of these GT’s.
