1969 Chrysler Newport

This year's Newport had a standard 383 cubic inch V8 engine and an optional 440 cubic inch V8 with 480 foot pounds of torque equipped with either a TorqueFlite automatic or 3-speed manual transmission. The Newport also grew 5 inches in length and the 3 inches wider in the front passenger area. Interior features include a heater with defroster, cloth and vinyl bench seats, door-to-door carpeting, and foam seat cushions while the exterior features wethaer protected locks, wheel covers and full-lenght body accent stripes. Optional equipment included all items found on base Newport's, plus power windows, AM/FM Touch Tuner Radio, 7-position Tilt-A-Scope steering wheel, electric door locks, remote trunk release, door edge protectors and two-tone paint.
