1969 Chrysler New Yorker

The Chrysler New Yorker again continued with the luxury and comfort from previous years. The New Yorker boasted a 5-foot-wide seat covered in fine-weve cloth and vinyl and padded with 2 layers of foam plus a standard 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. A 440 cubic inch V8 engine is standard with a 4 barrel carburetor and 480 foot pounds of torque. Underneath it all, Chrysler's unique suspension system of front torsion bars and rear, multiple leaf springs temper the roughest terrains. Available options were an automatically controlled air conditioning, stereo heat, driver awareness package, power steering, power front brakes, electric clock, simulated wood grained interior appliques and more.
