1965 Pontiac Bonneville

The 1965 Pontiac Bonneville received a minor syling changes. The Bonneville badges were added to the left side of the hood and on the rear fenders. The Bonneville continued to offer many standard features including courtesy lamps, padded dash, front and rear arm rests, cloth and vinyl interior combinations and many other options not available as standard on other Pontiac Models. Total production for the 1965 Bonneville including station wagons was 134,663. Of those, 1,449 had synchromesh and 133,214 had Hydra-Matic. The standard Bonneville engine used the base 389 platform backed by a three speed Synchromesh transmission which produced 325 HP. The optional Hydramatic transmission equipped 389 V8 produced 333 HP using the carter 4bbl. carburetor.
