Although this truck may look like it sat in a field for 30 years, this unique 1946 Ford Pickup is quite a fresh build that has gone less than 3,200 miles and has all your favorite amenities. So beyond the rugged workman appearance hides a leather-lined A/C interior, upgraded adjustable air ride suspension, overdrive transmission, and a terrific fuel-injected LS V8 heart.
They took a ton of time to make this one look like the weather had taken this one beyond patina. And that is always going to get your attention and start conversations wherever you go. But as you look a little closer, you can see the true hot rod details. The chopped cab lowers the profile. And the fenders are done in fiberglass for a more seamless look, and the running boards are upgraded, too. They even louvered the steel hood and tailgate. But then there are also more modern pieces, like the crystal clear headlights with LEDs. The bed holds all the modern air ride components, but it's hidden under a patina steel piece that even puts an old bike on top for attitude. And no matter how low you have this adjustable suspension dialed-in, it's hard not to recognize the cool hint of drag race small front tire setup.
The interior has been given a big investment in comfort without losing the patina cruiser attitude. For example, you have an awesome set of high-back leather bucket seats with diamond-stitch suede inserts. Yours even power adjusts. And in-between them is a vintage fire extinguisher converted into a center console. You have some of the best upgrades like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, a tilt steering column, and upgraded gauges. But the moment you feel the mechanical action of the custom shifter, you remember that this coddler is also a pure street machine.
The engine bay is filled with a 6.0-liter LS-based V8. Plus, this motor has been further upgraded with a Holley electronic fuel injection intake, aluminum heads, an upgraded cam, a serpentine belt system, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fans. It fires up with a nice rumble out of the dual exhaust, but for those times when you really want to bring the thunder, there is also a toggle switch for a bypass before the mufflers. As you look underneath, you'll see a reinforced frame, a tubular A-arm front suspension, and a four-link rear. And while you'll enjoy dialing-in this truck to sit low when you park it at the shows, you also inflate the airbags and lift this for a more everyday kind of use. That's why you also have good driving features like power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
This is your chance at something powerful, unique, comfortable, and all-around awesome. Don't miss out, call today!
