The 1940 Fords featured handsome styling by Eugene Gregorie. The Deluxe model was discernible from the Standard by the presence of chrome headlight trim rings with parking lights cast into its upper radius. the grill had a center with horizontal bars and secondary lights with additional molding detail. The hubcaps had Deluxe script emblems, and a Maroon and Tan two-tone dash with a matching steering wheel.The Deluxe Coupe featured here enjoyed a recent frame-off restoration finished with a gorgeous Garnet Red paint color. Inside, the plush wool cloth feels like new and the dash looks excellent, with clear instrument gauges and glossy enamel finish. The Flathead V8 engine starts confidently and runs strong. Driving is an enjoyable experience with good brakes and suspension. The engine compartment looks freshly painted, plumbing and electric are neat and proper. Trunk has been refit with new side panels and back deck matting. A fresh-looking spare tire is secured inside. This is a classic Ford thats a pleasure to drive and the pride of your garage.
