The Chevrolet C10 truck was Chevys lightweight 2-wheel drive model, the Chevrolet K10 truck was Chevys lightweight 4-wheel drive model. First offered in 1960, Chevrolet introduced a new body style to truck fans which was more light weight and featured an independent front suspension that gave it a car-like feel. With the success of the C/K truck line, General Motors began to market them as transportation for leisure instead of work vehicles. The C/K models would eventually be replaced by the Chevrolet Silverado.
