1971 AMC Gremlin
While it might not come to mind today when you thing about the Gremlin, back in the early 70's there was something about the Gremlin that was different and unique. Or some might say, "It's the most ugliest , beautiful car I have ever seen." It was both sporty and economical. While it did come with a big engine in a small car (258 cu. in 6 cylinder), it was also easy on gas and offered more horsepower and more weight than comparable mini cars. With those great qualities, it did have some less desirable ones. Because the Gremlin was not equipped with disc brakes, it made stopping hazardous and in a panic stop, the rear end comes around make it a little dangerous.
