In 1968, Dodge's upgraded medium-price lineup is headed by the top of the line Monaco 500. The 383 V8 engine still remains standard in all Monaco and Monaco 500 models. A new 4-door hardtop has been added and this would be the last year for the Monaco 500 model. The Monaco would receive a few minor styling changes this year including a redesigned grill and new taillights.

Interior and Exterior Paint Chips
1968 Dodge Exterior Paint Codes.
The first letter or number identifies the roof or accent color. The second letter or number identifies the body color. (For example, the combination WC on a Dodge would indicate the roof or accent area is in White and the body is finished in Medium Blue Metallic.) Paint code plates are located in the engine compartment on the left wheel housing or the left fender side shield.
