1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser

For the second year of production for the Turnpike Cruiser joined production with the Montclair, and became a series in it's line-up. With only minor trim changes to the Turnpike in 1958 from the previous year, 1958 would also be the last year as it was discontinued in 1959. One of the most favorable feature's of the Turnpike would live on in Mercury's production as the Rear retractable window later showed up on Mercury's "Breezeway" sub-series in the Monterey, Montclair and Park Lane model ranges from 1963 - 1966.
