1954 Chevrolet Corvette

In 1954 Chevrolet continued with the sporty Corvette. While not much had changed from the previous year, new additions for ’54 was the option of exterior color choices with the addition of black, blue and red to the previous year of just white only. A new beige interior was also available. The Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission was still the only transmission available, even though it was technically listed as a $178 option. Sales were on the rise and peaked to 3,640 produced in 1954, up from just 300 in it’s previous first year run.
