DESCRIPTION
This 1965 Ford F-100 has an extra sleek style and a big 429 V8 under the hood. It makes for the kind of classic that has flair power, and even a touch of practicality.
The thoughtful style of this truck starts with the paint. This metallic maroon reminds us of a Candyapple red you'd get on a car like the Mustang, and so it sets the tone nicely for a muscle truck. The color-matched front bumper, flush rear roll pan, and smooth tailgate continue this sporty attitude. The bright grille, crystal-clear headlights, and polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels continue the custom and powerful style. But as much as this looks like a terrific street machine, the beauty of a pickup is that it can always do some chores, and so you have proper liner paint protecting the bed.
The interior is also an attractive full red package. The bench seat has good bolstering, and it has a fold-down center console to offer bucket-like comfort. There are also nice extras like an AM/FM/cassette stereo and tinted windows. And it's a rear driver-oriented setup with a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, clear gauges, and a column-mounted Summit tachometer.
There was a big upgrade under the hood, and so they made sure it was worth showing off. Ford's huge 429 cubic-inch V8 was expertly installed, and it has a tidy look and plenty of flair from a good investment. It has been upgraded with nice pieces like a four-barrel carburetor, Dominator intake, and headers. And an upgraded cam adds power and a nice tune to the dual exhaust. Plus, there have been solid investments in supporting components like the aluminum radiator, electric fans, a Flamethrower ignition, Ford Racing valve covers, and March pulleys. The stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission feeds into a Ford 9-inch rear. And this one really is made for driving. That's why you have power steering, power brakes, front discs, and the grip of modern ZR-rated tires.
Here's a true classic with the best in distinction and power. That's why it's such an irresistible pickup. Call today!!!
