your right ,its a 40 chevrolet the 41s were a bit different

40 Chevy. The 40 and 41 are similar but the 40 had detachable headlights and the 41's were molded into the fenders. Looks solid.
Like about all the pre war stuff.Yes this is a 40.Like 39 car a lot better with the headlights still hanging out in the air.40 chevy truck still had the headlights out but in 41 they put them down on the fender more like this 40 car.41 car has it kind of peeking up a little bit on fender which I like better than the 40 car allso.Took my 37 pu for a ride before dark yesterday as we have a big cold front moving in now.
