1965/1966 BB 396 Chevrolet coded for an Impala

This is a 65/66 BBC 396 L35 that has a standard bore, Standard Main Bearings and Standard Connecting Rod Bearings (Stock HP was 325 and 420 FtLbs of torque). The code on the block is 3855961 and the code on the heads is 3872702. The code on the front deck is coded for an Impala. this engine had so little ridge at the top of the cylinders that I pushed the pistons out with little to no resistance. This is one nice engine ready for someone to rebuild to stock or make into a nice little torque factory. The forged Crank is part of the deal and my local Machine shop polished the crank and its ready for a new set of Main Bearings and Rod Bearings. The cam that comes with this engine is a Isky ZZ66 that has .520-.520 lift Intake and exhaust and 286 Duration. The heads have heavier than stock valve springs to handle the extra lift. I called Isky Cams and they tell me a stock 396 with this cam setup should produce 425 to 450 HP but after talking with my Machinist they told me to expect 375 to 400 HP. I have thought about putting this together and selling it but it would bump the price $500.
