Chevrolet Nomad The Chevrolet Nomad Station Wagon was first introduced as a proto-type Corvette Nomad at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City in 1954. It has ever since been called the "WALDORF". The Chevy Nomad two-door sport wagon was produced from 1955 - 1957.
