Outside and interior trim followed suite with the Impala series line up for 1960. Chevrolet changed much of the bodylines from the more wilder '59's. The new look for 1960 suited the glamorous top of the line Impala, as Chevrolet reshaped and separated the "bat wing" tail fins, and added 3 round tailamps to the rear.
Additional features included a short molding strip extending back from the headlights, twin pairs of bar molding above and below the fender strip, the quarter panel missile ornaments had 2 moldings streaking rearward, and the area between them was filled with a white insert and Impala script. Nomad wagons featured a aluminum trim panel around the tail lights and on the tailgate very similar to the Impala Sedans.
Nomad features included:
Roof Rack
Power Steering, Power Seat, Power Windows, Power Brakes
Cruise Control
Padded Dash
...and more
