Now with more style and engine options - the 1967 Plymouth Fury

1967 Plymouth Fury

Plymouth was out to win you over with many new and redesigned models in 1967, including the 1967 Fury and VIP. The Fury I was Plymouth's offering for vehicles in the lower price field. Standard features include a 318 cu. in V8 or 225 cu. in 6-cylinder engines. Sixteen different paint colors were available on the outside and 3 differed fabric choices on the inside. Much of the same options as the Fury I, the Fury II also offered and energy absorbing steering column, 2-speed electric windshield wipers, roadside flashers.

Thirteen different interiors are available in the Fury III coated in rich fabric and vinyl. Additional options include AM/FM radio, 8-track tape player, air-conditioning while standard options include a 318 cu. in V8 or 225 cu. in 6-cylinder, electric clock, choice of 21 body colors and Torsion-bar front suspension.

1967 Plymouth Sport Fury

All 3 Sport Fury's come with contrasting color accent stripes painted on the character line of the lower body. Sport Wheel covers and a special 3-spoke wheel come as standard equipment along with all-vinyl bucket seats. Available engines include a Super Commando 440 V8, Commando 383 4-barrel V8, or a Commando 383 2-barrel V8 although the standard engine is a 318 cu. in V8. Extra options include a 4-speed manual transmission, tachometer, front disc brakes, heavy-duty suspension package, sure-grip differential and a lot more.

1967 Plymouth VIP

The 318 cu. in. V8 engine is standard the VIP. Recessed louvers enable ventilation to flow through and change the air inside the car.
