The 1960 Plymouth Fury

1960 Plymouth Fury

The Fury was at the top of the line for Plymouth in 1960. A new body frame was developed built with unibody construction allowing more room and a quieter, smoother ride. In addition, Torsion-Aire Ride was standard equipment on all Plymouth's which helps soak up road bumps by using Torsion bars in the front and wide-leaf springs in the back. Inside each Plymouth Fury there is embossing on the upholstery with a choice of 5 different colors; blue, green, red, caramel and turquoise. An additional feature includes an RCA automatic record player that fits underneath the instrument panel. It can play up to fourteen "45" records consecutively.
