1955, first year of the Thunderbird, set a standard for sports cars in the era. They are more popular today, than ever. I know that I wanted one as a teenager, and I have a ball driving this one today.
Restored in 2009, the snowshoe white paint shines better than new, no scratches or dents anywhere. Body gaps are good, and the fender skirts fit as they should. No rust, and no indication that this 55 has ever been in an accident.
Black and white is the inside finish, and upholstery is in excellent condition. The power seat works as it should. It is equipped with the original radio, and all the gauges work with the exception of the clock. Also comes with the hardtop, which was an option in 55.
The only engine available in 55 was the P code 292 V/8 that produced 198 HP. The engine in this TBird starts right up and runs great. Also looks great with the dress up kit. Linked to an automatic transmission, makes this Bird a dream to drive. Undercarriage is as clean as the body. Comes with a good set of wide white walls complemented by a set of original Thunderbird wire wheels.
Restored to original, still has the 6 volt system, this car is not perfect, but an above average driver.
Comparable cars are going for $40,000 plus, this one is priced to sell at $34,990.00 FIRM

Might consider trade for newer, low mileage Corvette.
