The GMC Suburban was first offered as an all steel "carryall-suburban" that was a station wagon type of body mounted on a heavier duty commercial frame. As time evolved the Suburban remained as one of the largest SUVs in the market and was equipped with three rows of seats and extra luggage space behind.
