The DeSoto Adventurer was first produced in 1956 through 1960 by the Chrysler Corporation and sold under its DeSoto brand. The Adventurer was DeSoto’s top-trim level, and was offered only as a hardtop coupe in 1956. The model range grew when the coupe was joined by a convertible in 1957, and a four-door hardtop and sedan in its final year of 1960.
